Adrienne Bailon of The Real might be on vacation this week, but she’s definitely making headlines.

The singer and talk show host became the center of attention when she was spotted with Gospel singer Israel Houghton in Mexico.

Considering Houghton just announced his divorce from his wife of 20 years about a month ago after infidelity (that took place years ago), many fans speculated that Bailon was the other woman. See his post below.


In the latest update of the news, she has cleared up speculation that she was the one who Houghton cheated with.

Houghton also took to Facebook to defend Bailon against critics.

He said that while they sparked up their relationship just recently, his marriage was “over” before he even met Bailon “a bit over two years ago.”

As for the announcement he made about his divorce, he added that things between him and his now ex-wife “had been over for quite some time before going public with my divorce announcement.”

“It seems to be simple math that I had not even yet met Adrienne during the time my marriage was falling apart.”

He added, “Adrienne is a woman of integrity & character…Most of all she is a true friend, and she should not be blamed for my past indiscretions…”
