Is it true that Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor's moms were going to meet up to work things out for their daughter and son?

On Wednesday, FilmiBeat found the answer to that question after it was rumored that Kaif's mother was heading to India to visit Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir's mother so they could help the two Bollywood stars patch things up after their reported break-up.

Kaif, herself, opened up on this rumor and gave a clear answer for all.

"Yes, my mother is in Mumbai and no, she is not here to meet Neetu Kapoor," she said.

The actress then revealed what her mom is actually doing there and it looks like it's for a good cause.

"My mother is personally working on the curriculum," Kaif said. "Teaching is her passion. I overheard her talking to someone on the phone a few days back; she was saying that in the current education model, kids are finding it very difficult to pay attention [to their studies]. So, she is trying to make learning fun for them. My contribution, however, is limited to the financial aspect."

So, even though Kaif and Kapoor's moms may not be in contact right now, that doesn't necessarily mean the actors aren't. They've been working together on the film Jagga Jasoos, plus Kaif previously said that two exes can remain friends.

"Firstly, no one person has the authority to speak on love," the actress said via Bollywood Life. "But in general, we see so many people who have shared past histories and remain friends. So why can't I be friends with an ex? I have been friends with a few of them in the past."
