Sting announced his retirement in an emotional farewell speech following his induction by fellow Hall of Famer Ric Flair last night at the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony.

“You’ve heard me say it before. You’ve heard me say it for years. That the only that is for sure about Sting is nothing is for sure. Until now. On this very night, at this very moment, I’m gonna finish my wrestling career under the WWE umbrella. And I’m so proud of that,” Sting said. “I am officially…officially going to retire tonight.”

After the rumbling of disappointment from fans, a “Thank You Sting” chant broke out in the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. However, Sting made certain to remind the audience that they haven’t seen the last of him. “I just want you to know, this isn’t goodbye. It’s just ‘See You Later’.” It’s a beautiful speech, and definitely worth checking out.
