James Deen has spoken up since the unexpected death of adult film star Amber Rayne.

It was announced on Monday from People that Rayne died at her home on Saturday at the age of 31. Authorities are currently awaiting reports on toxicology and an autopsy on what exactly happened.

Rayne made headlines last year when she accused porn actor James Deen of sexually assaulting her.

And since her death, Deen has taken to Twitter to let the public know that he's apparently been receiving some criticism from people, something he is not happy about.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, Deen opened up on Rayne's accusations, claiming the ordeal was blown out of proportion.

"It sounds pretty extreme but I can assure you, as someone who has also been on sets before, the situation was grossly distorted by the press, and as someone who came to my defense stated, this video exists," he said. "You can clearly see it not happening the way it is represented in the media."

Meanwhile, a number of Twitter users have taken to their pages to express their condolences and grief over the death of Rayne.
