Is there a chance that one of the most iconic horror queens of all time will appear in the new season of MTV's Scream?

On Monday, Hollywood Life managed to get some information from actress Neve Campbell who's known for her starring role as Sidney Prescott in the Scream movie series. These films became so popular that it led to a TV show, which is moving into its second year this summer.

When the actress attended Variety's Power of Women luncheon last Friday, she was asked if she would ever consider making a cameo appearance on the series.

Campbell didn't look too confident that that would happen due to a good reason.

"I haven't even seen it," she said with a smile. "I was invited when it was starting, but it didn't seem to make sense to me. Well, I wasn't working at the time- I was just being a mom. But also, because I'm a part of films, for some reason, it didn't make sense to me."

Campbell added though that she should give the show a try to see what she thinks.

"I need to watch it," she said. "That would be a good idea."

Meanwhile, a promo was released for Season 2 of the horror series at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. It shows that despite trying to get back to a "normal life," nothing will ever be the same again.

The main characters are also dealing with more issues as someone is looming around them and no one can be trusted. There are also going to be more intense moments with some psycho asking more questions that are pretty much along the lines of "What's your favorite scary movie?"
