Jeremy Renner and his ex-girlfriend welcomed a daughter on Thursday.

The two-time Academy Award-nominated actor has yet to announce the birth of his first child, but two sources shared the news with Us Weekly on Friday.

Us Weekly reported in January that sources overheard the Borne Legacy actor telling his good friend, actress Eva Longoria, that he was going to be a father.

The Hollywood stars were attending a Golden Globes party when he shared the good news with the Desperate Housewives actress. He said that he was going to "fly in when (her) water breaks," a source told Us Weekly at the time.

The source also said that while the Avengers star was being "ultra-secretive about it," at the time, his ex-girlfriend "has been going on about her life and not hiding it."

National Enquirer revealed in January that the mother of Renner's child is 22-year-old Canadian model Sonni Pacheco. According to the report, Renner met Pacheco on the set of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

A friend told the newspaper that the actor "hooked up" with the model while he was filming the movie.

"When Jeremy returned to Vancouver to film 'The Bourne Legacy,' they hooked up again and started staying together at the same hotel," a friend told National Enquirer. "Jeremy is delighted he's going to become a dad," said the friend.

Pacheco has been a spokeswoman for Monster Energy drink and provided background details about herself on her website. "I grew up on a farm, catching frogs and doing boyish stuff, so I could definitely have been called a tomboy," she wrote.

Renner is so private about his personal life that there has been speculation that he is gay. The source addressed the rumors in the same report.

"There have been whispers about him being gay or bisexual for years. But he says those rumors are just a sign of him having made it in Hollywood."

Renner addressed the rumors himself in a magazine cover story.

"I want my personal life to be personal, and it's not f-cking true" Renner told The Hollywood Reporter. "And I don't care if you're talking about things that are true, you're still talking about my personal life."

"How about I go peek in your window, take what underwear you wore last night, whose husband you were f-cking, and shove that in the megaphone throughout your neighborhood? How does that feel?"
