It's easy to say hurtful things to people online, where being behind a computer screen can give you the brave anonymity to bully, harass, and truly malign another person's character. And unfortunately, sometimes that can be taken way too far.

Two women in particulat who have gotten a lot of harsh tweets sent their way over the years are sports reporters Sarah Spain and Julie DiCaro, who while they get plenty of mean tweets that could be seen as harmless insults telling them to "f*** off," have also received horrifying amounts of hate--with some even tweeting to them that they hoped they were raped, beaten and murdered.

In the video below, men who did not send the tweets were asked to read them aloud to both Spain and DiCaro's faces, and their reactions say it all as they have a hard time reading the hurtful messages--this is harassment and bullying. And it's heartbreaking that such amounts of vitriol can be spewed on the internet.
