Dakota Fanning was seen in the NoLIta neighborhood of New York City on Monday wearing an ivory outfit matching her fair complexion, Mail Online reported.

The Runaways actress, who played a pale-skinned member of the vampire royalty in the Twilight Saga film series, wore a white miniskirt and blouse with an embellished collar to parallel the warm New York weather. She put some color into her look by adding a light green body bag, silver sneakers and an apricot-colored cardigan. Fanning pulled her hair back and protected her eyes with round-framed sunglasses.

A friend of the actress' joined Fanning on her tour of the city, but contrasted her outfit in an all-black look.

In 2011, Marc Jacobs selected Fanning as the spokesperson for his Oh, Lola! fragrance. The United Kingdom's Advertising Standards Authority banned the advertisements featured the actress shortly after, judging the campaign as having sexualized a child.

Fanning is in her second year at New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Studies, but has managed to remain active in the entertainment industry. She recently appeared in coming-of-age drama Very Good Girls alongside Elizabeth Olsen. She will star this year in Night Moves, to be released in September 2013, and Effie, which is due to come out in October.
