Are Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard acting inappropriately on the set of Allied?

According to ongoing reports, Pitt and Cotillard have allegedly fallen for one another while filming, and in new photos, they are seen holding hands.

On Tuesday, the Lainey Gossip shared photos of Pitt and Cotillard, who play married spies in the film, running out of a building as they held hands. And while the photos weren't exactly incriminating, they will likely add to the ongoing rumors of Pitt's possibly upcoming divorce from Angelina Jolie.

Earlier this month, Hollywood Life shared a Star magazine report in which a source claimed Pitt and Cotillard had gotten extremely close as they filmed Allied.

“There is totally something going on between [Brad and Marion],” an insider told Star. “They had insane chemistry right from the start, and many crewmembers believe they’ve been acting on it in private.”

The couple also reportedly has “affectionate nicknames” for one another, and Cotillard “lights up whenever Brad is around,” according to the source.

According to the report, Pitt and Jolie used to overlook on-set flirtations, but when it comes to Pitt's relationship with Cotillard, Jolie allegedly feels he's crossed the line.

“In the past, Brad and Angie have always turned a blind eye to each other’s little flirtations. As long as neither of them took it too far, they thought it actually spiced up their relationship,” the insider added. “But Brad getting emotionally attached to Marion is totally against the rules. That’s what makes this a unique situation that could threaten their marriage.”

If Pitt and Jolie do divorce due to Pitt's alleged relationship with Cotillard, it would be the first time a marriage of Pitt's has ended because of an on-set romance. As fans of the actor will recall, Pitt's former wife, Jennifer Aniston, filed for divorce in 2005 after he and Jolie fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
