Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is coming, and from what could be seen so far, the title might very well be the best Dragon Ball game yet. The first game alone was a massive success, spawning a new legion of fans from the current generation. Of course, with the sequel's release speculated to be scheduled for late 2016, fans of the game are very excited.

One of the things that Dragon Ball Xenoverse has done very well is its roster of characters. In fact, this particular factor has been branded as one of the best aspects of the game by critics and fans alike. Thus, for the highly-anticipated sequel, it would make perfect sense for the game to feature far more characters than its predecessor.

Among the requests from fans of the original game is that more villains from the franchise should be included. Indeed, from the game's official trailer, the developers of the game seem to have listened to fans' requests, featuring three prominent villains, Turles, Lord Slug and Zarbon in the trailer's featured clips. This is particularly interesting since two of these villains, Turles and Lord Slug, originated from classic Dragon Ball Z movies.

Turles, for one, was even rumored to be the identity of Black Goku in Dragon Ball Super's upcoming Future Trunks arc. Lord Slug, on the other hand, is King Piccolo, the evil counterpart of the franchise's favorite alien.

With the game's final roster yet to be announced, rumors are now emerging that other prominent villains from the franchise would make an appearance in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as well. Among those speculated to be featured would be Androids 12, 13, 14 and 15, as well as Bojak the space pirate. Super Android 17, which proved very popular in the anime years back, is also rumored to appear in Xenoverse 2's lineup.

If the rumors do prove true, then Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 might indeed be the most expansive, impressive and memorable Dragon Ball game yet.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is speculated to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC by the end of 2016.
