Rumors of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne heading for a divorce circulated recently after it was revealed that the couple are living separately and have not seen each other for almost a month.

Since moving out of the Los Angeles home they shared, Sharon is staying in a hotel while her Beverly Hills property is being renovated and Ozzy is reportedly renting a home two miles away, according to The Sun.

The couple, who has been married for 31 years, have not seen each other for three weeks despite the fact that they currently live not far from each other.

"They are living at different addresses and are not spending any time together," a source said. "They aren't acting like husband and wife. It is unusual to not even have dinner together when both of them are five minutes apart."

A source close to the couple said Sharon, 60, and Ozzy, 64, have had "plenty of opportunities" to meet up, but have yet to spend "any time together at all." Friends of the couple described the current living arrangement as "highly unusual" for a couple who are typically very close.

"It's pretty unusual for a married couple to spend such a long time apart, especially when they both have drivers and can be at each other's houses in five minutes," a friend of the couple's said.

News of a divorce follow reports that Sharon and Ozzy have been spotted recently without their wedding rings. Sharon was without the ring when she went for lunch with her daughter Kelly Osbourne at Hollywood's Ivy restaurant earlier in the month. Two days later, Ozzy did not have his own wedding ring on as he filmed an appearance for the television series CSI with his Black Sabbath bandmates in Los Angeles.

Sharon is confirmed to return as a judge on The X Factor's United Kingdom edition.
