New details emerged in the aftermath of Porsha and Kordell Stewart's divorce filing indicating that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star returned the wedding ring to her estranged husband.

Porsha made her first press appearance since Kordell filed for divorce on March 22 at the Bravo Upfronts party on April 1. The reality television actress attended the party without her wedding ring. The Christian Post reported that the reality star was rumored to be holding on to the ring for a possible reconciliation, but has realized that her marriage is over.

"The ring is off. She's finally come to terms with the fact that it's over. She and Kordell are done," a source close to Porsha said. "When he filed for divorce, she found out about it online. So she kept her wedding ring on out of shock at first, then in hopes they could still work it out."

The source also said that Porsha had high hopes to get back with Kordell, but came to terms that "he wasn't the man she thought he was."

"The way he's handled this entire situation- both personally and in the press- has horrified her. She thinks he's a dog," the source said. "Porsha is ready for the next chapter."

The reality star told reporters at the party on April 1 that her family is going through a hard time, and thanked her family members and friends for support.

"When you have strong arms and strong family around you, they cover you -- that's what they're there for," she said. "So that's who I'm leaning on."

The former athlete claimed in the papers he filed that Porsha should not be entitled to spousal support. The papers stated, "[She's] an able-bodied person, earning income and is capable of supporting herself." Suggesting an existing prenuptial agreement, Kordell's filing also stated that there are no marital assets to be divided.

Porsha filed a legal response against Kordell, claiming for alimony and additional relief. She said there is a "strong possibility" she will return for the next season of RHOA.
