Lisa Vanderpump attended LA Pride following the Orlando shooting earlier this month.

For the past several years, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has attended the LA Pride festival in West Hollywood, Calif. and often hosts celebration parties at her restaurants, PUMP Lounge and SUR Restaurant, and although there was fear for another attack, she didn't miss this year's event.

"Gay Pride ...Such sadness but we won't succumb to fear... Thank you #LAPD for keeping us safe," Vanderpump wrote on Instagram during the festivities.

"I think the most important thing is courage in the face of adversity," Vanderpump told Entertainment Tonight during the event. "Now is the time we stand together and unite."

Vanderpump told the outlet she was "really devastated" after hearing about the killings, and added, "My heart goes out to the victims and their families."

"It's definitely thrown a kind of very somber shadow over today's events, which should be a day of celebration," Vanderpump said. "I've had gay restaurants, bars, clubs, and I've known the gay community to be a kind, peaceful community that embrace one another… such a heinous act is devastating."

Barely Famous stars Erin and Sara Foster also spoke out during the event.

"The best way to respect what happened last night, I think, is to continue to show the strength around the pride that everyone has," Erin said. "You can be afraid… or you can stand stronger and band together with everyone and say, 'No matter what happens we're still going to stay strong,' and still show up and still support everyone's ability and right to love each other freely and not have to be in fear."

According to Sara, the Orlando tragedy was "just one more reminder that gun control is not where it needs to be."

"We need to be taking steps to complete eliminate access to military weapons," Sara added. " It's just not okay."
