Jules Wainstein may have just found a friend in Kristen Taekman.

Following news of her divorce from husband Michael, the Real Housewives of New York City star was on Twitter, where she responded to a message from Taekman who she met over the weekend for the first time.

As fans of The Real Housewives of New York City may recall, Taekman's husband, Josh, was involved in a cheating scandal last year after his named was one of many names involved in the Ashley Madison user account hack. However, according to Josh, he didn't actually cheat on Taekman with any woman he may have met on the affair-based website.

"I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family," he told PEOPLE Magazine in a statement last August. "We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives."

As for Wainstein's impending divorce from her husband of eight years, Michael, who is also the father of her two children, Wainstein's rep recently claimed he was unfaithful and engaged in an alleged affair with another woman.

“It has nothing to do with the show,” her rep confirmed to Us Weekly. “They had issues for awhile but Jules was blindsided by this.”

Meanwhile, Michael told a different story via his attorney.

"Yes [the marriage is over]," Mark Jay Heller told Us Weekly of the rumors. "If she had caught him cheating, she certainly would have put in an answer and account to claim alleging that he committed adultery."
