While conflicting reports continue to surface regarding Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus' relationship status, one rapper who knows the pop singer appeared to confirm that the couple ended their engagement.

Snoop Lion collaborated with Cyrus on the track Ashtrays and Heartbreaks, which was released in early April. The two singers worked together on the reggae-infused track from his album Reincarnated and Cyrus' lyrics include, "Now my buzz is gone / I need to re-up on reality."

In an interview with HuffPost Live on Monday, Snoop Lion talked about their collaboration and commented on the former Disney star's relationship with her Hemsworth.

"I can't speak for her, ya know what I'm saying, but I know that she has a relationship that no longer exists," he said. "I know she's probably in a transformation change with her life, her music and her career."

Snoop Lion's confession follows an earlier interview in which Cyrus's father, Billy Ray Cyrus, talked about the engaged couple as being merely "great friends."

"They're young, they're kids, the great news is they're great friends, they're really good friends," Billy Ray said. "I play it by ear, I know whatever's meant to be that's the way it's going to happen."

Cyrus was photographed on Tuesday wearing her engagement ring once again as she existed to Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. The 20-year-old paired jean shorts with a shiny back top, silver heels and red lipstick. See pictures here.

On April 18 she posted on Twitter a photo of herself and with her left hand bent toward the camera as she holds a glass bottle, her lack of engagement ring is in full view. An E! source, however, said, "She just doesn't wear it sometimes. People shouldn't read too much into that."
