It’s been awhile since we’ve heard any drama with VH1 Hollywood Exes star Drea Kelly and her ex-husband R. Kelly. But now the issues have resurfaced amid news that the R&B crooner is dating and possibly engaged to a 19-year-old woman.

Drea, who normally stays quiet about R. Kelly’s headlines, stepped in after radio host and rapper Monie Love mentioned their children when dishing on R. Kelly’s dating life.

Drea took to Periscope to share her thoughts.

“Y’all know I don’t play when it comes to my eggs… Now I have to rip somebody a new [one.]”

Drea said she was taking her kids to school when she heard Monie Love speaking on the issue on the radio. She first made it clear she doesn’t care who R. Kelly is dating.

“I feel like she did one of the most [messed] up things you can do as a journalist… At the end of the recording it said something about me and my children. Keep my children out of it. That’s number one. I’m a mother…”

As for her second point, Drea added, “Y’all knw I typically don’t get on here and go off like this… I’m about fun… But this is the last straw when you have included my kids…”

She went on to say that she and R. Kelly broke up nearly ten years ago.

“I’m just talking about this because my kids were involved… You don’t do it. It’s not cool. I would say if I had a direct number…”

She made it clear she didn’t want to “attack” Monie Love but that the host should apologize. Check out her nearly 20 minute rant below. WARNING: Explicit Language.
