Ranbir Kapoor is about to let it out on how he's been doing since the break-up with Katrina Kaif.

On Wednesday, a promo was released for the Bollywood actor's interview with CNN News 18. The split with the actress was mentioned where Kapoor pointed out how false truths got released.

"It was really punctured by a lot of things," the actor said about the split. "By baseless rumors and reports and perceptions and points-of-views."

Kapoor added that the break-up did get to him since he shared a special connection with Kaif.

"It hurt because I think after my parents she's been the most influential, most motivational entity in my life," he said.

There was a previous rumor that Kapoor met up with Kaif at her house after they called it quits. But in a report from India Today, the star made it clear that that was nothing more than gossip.

"That's absolutely untrue and I feel so sad that a section of media promotes or brainwashes a certain sect of the audience because as much as I would like to meet her, the last time I met her was at the shoot of Jagga Jasoos and I'm going to meet her now on the 10th of September when we restart Jagga Jasoos," Kapoor said. "So, there is nothing true about the fact."

He also opened up on his learning experiences after facing difficult challenges when making certain films.

"Failure only teaches you, makes you a better person," he said. "I have a long way to go. I have so much to achieve, so many people to work with and I'm just so raring to go. I'm rejuvenated, I'm refreshed, passionate, eager, ambitious and I have all these films to work on so I'm really excited."
