Rumor has it that Rihanna checked in on Chris Brown during his now epic standoff with police Tuesday afternoon.

The singer was inside his home with police outside after a woman claimed he pointed a gun at her while his friends forced her to leave his house. Brown was taken into custody and released on bail, but now speculation says that his ex-girlfriend checked in on him during the intense moment that went viral on the Internet.

“Rihanna’s nervous, scared, and panicking over what’s happening at Chris house,” an insider told Hollywood Life Tuesday. “All she can think about is him and Royalty and hopes that Chris will get out of this situation. She’s been texting him like crazy and he hasn’t responded to one of her texts and that’s making her extremely nervous. She needs him to text her and say something!”

Another insider confirmed that Rihanna was worried about Brown as he refused to leave his home and told authorities they would have to have a warrant to come inside.

“Of course Rihanna is worried about Chris after hearing about the police being at his house. She knows how hard he’s been trying to be the best dad he can be to Royalty. This kind of drama doesn’t make him look good. She’s hoping it was all a big misunderstanding for Chris’ sake.”

News of Brown being inside his home surfaced after the woman filed a police report against the singer. He has maintained that her claims are false.
