It may have been two years already since their wedding in Illinois, but that doesn't mean that Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg have allowed their marriage to leave the honeymoon stage that comes after being newlyweds.

The pair, who are celebrating their second wedding anniversary today, August 31, both took to social media to share sweet messages of love to one another as they commemorate their big day.

McCarthy took to her Twitter account first, sharing a collage of photos from their 2014 wedding day, including their first kiss as husband and wife, their first walk down the aisle, and them cutting their cake, along with a sweet message about how Wahlberg showed her she could find love again.

"Just when I gave up, he came into my life & showed me, true love exists. Happy anniversary to my (heart emoji) @DonnieWahlberg," she wrote alongside the photos.

Wahlberg followed with his own post, one which featured a simple black-and-white photo of the pair together at an undisclosed location, and showed how he felt about their plans for a future together.

"Happy Anniversary Mrs. Wahlberg! Two years down...forever to go!" He wrote.

Wahlberg and McCarthy, who began dating in 2013, have never been shy about their affection for one another, often getting touchy-feely during appearances together and extolling what they love about one another's bodies in interviews. However, like all Hollywood couples who tend to have some form of a high profile, they have also suffered from a fair share of rumors and reports that their marriage was on the rocks as well.

Last summer, after McCarthy dyed her hair a bright fuschia color, reports claimed that Wahlberg was getting tired of her alleged "immature" behaviors and was ready to pull the plug on their marriage after only one year because of it.

"Their marriage is doomed. It's just a matter of time before they split. She's in danger of driving him out the door," a source said at the time. "When she gets a tattoo or dyes hher hair on a whim it drives Donnie crazy. He tells her to act like an adult.

The reports were quickly refuted by Wahlberg himself, who said he hadn't walked out on his wife and had no intentions of doing so at all.
