Rihanna And Drake Dating History: Singer Is 'On Cloud 9' After Going Public With Romance

Rihanna and Drake are now public as a couple and rumor has it the singer could not be happier.

From Drake professing his love for the island beauty to the two getting matching camouflage shark tattoos, they have definitely taken their love to another level in the public eye. And one insider said Rihanna hope it lasts.

“Rihanna is so incredibly happy right now” they told Hollywood Life Monday. “She’s totally on cloud nine. Food tastes better, colors are brighter and life is better since she and Drake made things official. She never wants this feeling to end.”

Drake’s public profession for Rihanna began before he described her as a woman he has “been in love with” since he was 22-years-old. He also got her a huge billboard the night before to celebrate her receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award that only the likes of Beyonce and Justin Timberlake have gotten so far. But if Rihanna and Drake take their relationship even further, he plans to take things up a notch publicly as well, especially if they have a child together.

“[His announcement] would make the billboards he purchased for Rihanna look like a card she received in the mail.”

Drake and Rihanna have been off-and-on since about 2012.

But they are said to be determined to work things out for good this time around.

“Drake is very committed to Rihanna,” one source told E! News recently. “They are both mature and ready to commit now. Drake loves Rihanna so much and if it was to him, he would marry her tomorrow.”

Another insider confirmed, “Things are different this time between them for the better.”
