Miley Cyrus is reportedly invested in her team on The Voice like no coach in the show's history.

The superstar coaches on The Voice are more hands-on than judges in other competition shows, but Cyrus has apparently taken this approach to a whole new level. There is a new report claiming that the outrageous pop star even shows up for her team during dress rehearsals when she doesn't even get paid!

"She's the show's most devoted coach ever," an insider close to The Voice told Us Weekly recently. "She has a hand in choosing the hair, makeup and wardrobe for her team, and she goes to all the dress rehearsals when she's not even paid to be there. Nobody else does that!"

Cyrus has become so attached to her team that it's genuinely emotional for her to eliminate her singers as part of the Battle and Knockout Rounds.

"She cries when she has to eliminate people," the source said. "She's even close to the contestants' family members now."

The singer was clearly emotional during Monday night's episode when picking Kylie Rothfield to advance further in the competition and eliminating Whitney and Shannon. She's even been invested in other teams' singers, as seen when Alicia Keys had to decide between Christian Cuevas and Belle Jewel.

Luckily for Cyrus, she gets to have a season off to recover from all that emotion; season 7 and 9 coach Gwen Stefani is set to take over her chair in season 12. Stefani is currently dating fellow Voice coach Blake Shelton and is reportedly looking to spend more time with him by returning to the show.

"Gwen wants to come back to the show to be with Blake more," the insider said. "He can't stop gushing about her."

Cyrus will return as a coach for season 13 next fall.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
