Many people think that Apple tends to overprice their products especially for the MacBook generations. However, reports are very optimistic that this will change in the coming years.

According to 9to5 Mac, King-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities who is a reliable Apple analyst revealed that the company is planning a price cut for their new MacBook Pro lineup. Aside from that, the company is also said to have an internal hardware refresh.

It was speculated that Apple will gradually lower the price of MacBooks before it can finally announce the formal price drops once it releases the new MacBook Pro during the second half of next year. According to Kuo, the upcoming MacBook Pro will offer a support for 32GB RAM if Intel releases Canonlake processors in time.

Apple executive Phil Schiller explained in an earlier interview that the reason why the company decided to forgo the 32GB RAM option is because of the new MacBook Pro's power consumption. Many MacBook users have expressed their hesitation in buying the new model mainly because of the new upgrades and its high price.

Meanwhile, Tech Crunch reported that Schiller who is particularly the SVP of Worldwide Marketing explained in an interview with The Independent the changes they have made in the new MacBook Pro. He revealed that the new MacBook Pro is currently the fastest selling laptop from Apple.

However, there were reports that claim that many people have been hesitant in buying the new model because of its new design. One of the major changes is that the SD Slot is gone. Schiller explained that there are a lot of fine and fast USB card readers in the market today.

Schiller also assures the consumers that they are committed in updating the Mac lineup as regularly as they can to make them happy. He also said that the company is not abandoning macOS in favor of iOS.
