'Not My President': Donald Trump Victory Results In Powerful New Twitter Hashtag [VIDEO]
Donald Trump has won the 2016 presidential election, but many are not willing to accept the realities of America's actions.
This election cycle proved that America is more divided than ever, resulting in a stunning upset that very few polls were predicting. Hillary Clinton led most polls heading into Election Day, with the support of a popular sitting President, endorsements from various prominent celebrities and political figures and a strong ground game.
But Trump emerged victorious in the end, winning most of the battleground states, including Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. This victory was celebrated on social media by some, but many others were distraught to see America's final decision. The hashtag #NotMyPresident became the no. 1 trend on Twitter overnight in the United States, with all manner of people voicing their sadness, rage and despair of Trump's win.
