Election Results 2016: Shock Over President-Elect Trump Victory Leads To Michelle Obama & Kanye West Candidacies In 2020? [VIDEO]
In a very unexpected twist on Nov. 8, Donald Trump went from GOP Nominee to President Elect, defying every poll and projection that had pegged the night as somewhat difficult, but likely win for Hillary Clinton, and the news has sent those who do not support him reeling.
Many have taken to social media today with fears over what his Presidency will mean for the United States, as well as the world, with the knowledge of things he said during his campaign fresh in our minds. So far the news has been bad for the U.S. economy, with the Stock Market taking a sharp dive as results came in, and staying alarmingly low following his acceptance speech and Hillary Clinton's concession.
However, some are taking to social media to still express hope despite making it clear that they do not believe in a Donald Trump Presidency, and that they believe that a better change will come when the 2020 election comes around-and either Michelle Obama can run, or Kanye West can make good on the promise he made his fans at the 2015 MTV Music Video Awards and run for President.
Many have expressed hope that the current First Lady, who officially becomes a regular citizen again in January after Donald Trump is sworn in and Melania Trump assumes her role, will run in 2020:
Michelle Obama 2020 gives me hope. Hoping for this to look forward to. To help with the next four years
