TV Host Andy Cohen revealed that he was diagnosed with a certain type of skin cancer identified as "Melanoma". Apparently, Kelly Pira is the reason why Cohen was treated immediately at the early stage of the skin illness.

On a report posted by Yahoo,Cohen stated during his appearance on Live with Kelly Ripa" show, that he is a skin cancer survivor and it was Ripa and her spouse Mark Consuelos who convinced him to seek medical treatment immediately.

The host revealed in the said interview, "Ripa noticed a black dot on his lower lip in April. Cohen stated that Ripa and Consuelos "were insistent" that he get it checked out, and he didn't because he was like, 'Oh no, I'm sure it's nothing. It's just a black dot, but the couple really insisted him to consult a doctor.

On a report posted by Fox News Cohen is having doubts on consulting a medical expert about the "black dot on his lower lip. But because Kelly pressured him to go to the doctor, the host did what Kelly told him and later on the black dot on his lips was found out cancerous and identified as "Melanoma" The doctors successfully removed it.

Cohen has no idea that he will have this "Melanoma" He is really thankful that he had surpassed the illness. He expressed his utmost gratitude to Kelly Ripa who become an instrument to save Cohen from the danger of Big C.

On the other hand, it seems that Kelly Ripa is somehow "gifted" because she can identify if someone has cancer. But according to her, she doesn't know if she'd be capable of noticing skin cancer on herself because of how people adjust to incremental changes in their own bodies.She is incredibly happy for Andy Cohen.
