Derek Hough is one of the few Dancing With the Stars pros to not be engaged or married to anyone at the moment, but does he hope to settle down anytime soon?

Hough appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week to promote his upcoming starring role in NBC's Hairspray Live!, where the entertainer will play variety show host Corny Collins. Hough has been very busy performing in multiple projects including Dancing With the Stars, so it would seem he wouldn't have room for a love life in between everything.

But Hough is indeed quietly dating someone - fellow Dancing With the Stars dancer Hayley Erbert - and now that he's 31, he's starting to consider the idea of marriage and children, as he explained to Ellen DeGeneres.

"I'm kind of in a place now in my life, kind of a transition," Hough admitted. "Yeah, I see myself married with kids within the next five years."

Marriage fever is certainly in the air in the Dancing With the Stars family, with Hough attending his best friend. Mark Ballas', wedding over the weekend. He was Ballas' best man at the lavish ceremony, a distinction they have both known would happen since they were teenagers.

"He asked me 17 years ago to be his best man," Hough said, of Ballas. "We were 14 years old, so there's a lot of pressure actually. Luckily it went well."

As for children, Hough is certainly used to being around a large family - the 31-year-old has four sisters.

"I have a big family, a lot of sisters," Hough said. "There's a lot of estrogen in my family, and when people come visit, it's like this beautiful hurricane. They're running around dancing, being crazy. They're the best, I love them to death."

After Hairspray Live! airs Dec. 7 on NBC, he is working on other projects, including NBC's new dance competition series World of Dance and a Broadway revival of Singin' in the Rain.
