We've all learned the story in our history books about how the West was settled. We had cowboys and men seeking gold who headed out that way.

But actually, there is another part to that story. A part which has to do with how the towns eventually came to be formed, and how things were actually settled.

Believe it or not...it was prostitution. Which seems a little funny since it's clearly not a legal way of doing things today, nor is it exactly considered a profession which is maybe the backbone of society.
