Just weeks after taking over as the new home for Nokia phones, Finnish company HMD Global announced the launch of two affordable phones.

The Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 dual SIM phones will start coming out in Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Europe in the first quarter of 2017, the company said in a statement.

The expectation for Nokia's smartphone launch has been muddled up by HMD Global releasing yet another phone under the brand name. The new feature phone released by the company is named as Nokia 150. The phone is quite similar in design to Nokia 216 launched back in September by Microsoft, the new phone is a Series 30+ phone.

According to the Indian Express, both the phones sport a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a built-in FM radio and mp3 player.

Two models of the phone have been released. First is having dual sim that feature Nokia Dual Sim 150 while the other one Nokia 150 featuring a single sim. Apart from this, both the phones are having an identical functionality. The phones do not provide internet access but offer other basic features such as MP3 player, FM radio, and Bluetooth v3.0 with SLAM. Phone also has the VGA camera with a LED flash.

The phones are coming with the talk time that will last up to 22 hours, and standby times of up to 31 days for the single SIM and 25 days for the dual SIM variant.

The Nokia 150 is having a display of 2.4-inch with the previously installed games like Snake Xenzia, and the try-and-buy version of Nitro Racing by Gameloft2.

The distribution business for the latest phones will start with the selected markets like APAC, IMEA, and Europe. The phones are having a price tag of only $26 and will be built by Foxconn subsidiary FIH.
