The Miami Heat continue to slide down the standing as of late. Losing 7 of their last 10 games, they are currently sitting at the 13th spot in the Eastern Conference division. Rumors are now spreading that they are considering of trading Hassan Whiteside to the Golden State Warriors with Klay Thompson as a trade piece in a rumored deal.

The Heat was once a dominating force in the league for the past few years. From 2010-2014, led by the Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, they build the best trio combination in the league. They've been in the NBA Finals for four consecutive years and won two championships during those times.

However, James decides to leave the Heat and went back to his hometown, Cleveland. Since then, Wade and Bosh carried the Heat franchise and lead the team to playoff appearances but have never gone further. And now that Wade leaves the team and Bosh not cleared to play because of his health condition, the Heat is said to be looking for a high-caliber player to fill in that gap.

Recent reports are now saying that the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors are said to be engaged in a blockbuster trade deal. According to Blasting News, even if the Warriors are off to a good start, there's a notion that they will make a shakeup of their roster before the February trade deadline and a possible trade deal with Heat might happen soon.

Trade scenario is saying that Hassan Whiteside will head West and join the Dub City team while Klay Thompson will strut his stuff in South Beach with the Heat. The trade will send huge trembling in the NBA and will definitely be a hot topic in the coming days but it will truly benefit both teams as per stated in the report.

Golden State will take advantage of Whiteside great inside presence to toughen up their interior defense which they badly needed since Andrew Bogut left the team last summer. He can protect the rim, have a good mid range jumper and can give a triple-double performance every night.

On the other hand, with Kevin Durant already on the Warriors roster, many believe that Thompson is not more needed in the lineup and transferring to the Heat will give more time to unleash his full potential. He can be the Heat's main go-to-guy and could play well alongside Goran Dragic.

The Inquisitr also reported the scenario of a Whiteside-Thompson swap might work for both teams. However, both teams may think twice before agreeing on this deal as both players are vital cogs for them and taking them out might disrupt the flow of the system for both teams.
