Tech giant's next flagship Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly compete against OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5 in 2017. It cannot be denied that OnePlus is in the smartphone industry for the long haul. As of late, the Shenzhen-based organization is gradually making an essential impact on the mobile business.

With a series of launchings under its belt, the Chinese manufacturing firm is fast becoming another contender in phone technology. With this in mind, its products are probably ready to go up against South Korean tech giant Samsung.

Sources reveal that both organizations have devices to be released in 2017. It has also been leaked that the OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5 handset has features similar to the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Among the latest rumors to surface about the new OnePlus flagship involves the presence of a powerful processor. It is perceived that the Snapdragon 830 processor will be running the OnePlus 4 product.

It should be noted that Qualcomm has been on top of its game considering that its items become the mainframe of all present android units. Within this context, it is highly likely that the Samsung Galaxy S8 is also in the running to use the Snapdragon hardware.

In terms of design, anticipation is high that upcoming smartphones will assume a curved form. It is possible that the two tech groups will follow the emerging trend.

Talks are ripe that the OnePlus 4 will have a dual lens photo tracker. One of the optic components will be tapped for wide-angle shots while the other will be used for standard procedures.

Considering that OnePlus has retained the display resolution of its prototype model, it remains to be seen if the newest device will have QHD or OLED capability. Currently, the Chinese group is looking at two brands that will carry the 6GB and the 8GB RAMs.

According to founder Carl Pei, the TV Stuff reports that OnePlus 4 will still accommodate the beloved headphone jack.

Meanwhile, Samsung is eyeing to improve further its Galaxy S7 variant. It is likely that the S8 will have the planned enhancements.

The forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is believed to unveil a 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch models. Considering the gaming support is also being valued around this time, the South Korean manufacturer will probably be adding a 4K capability to its incoming flagship.
