NBA trade rumors start to swirl around again to Sacramento Kings superstar DeMarcus Cousins. Recent reports are now saying that the Los Angeles Lakers could be the potential destination for Boogie and the trade might happen before the February trade deadline.

Cousins have been dragged to many trade deals the past few months. He's been linked to being traded to the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, Washington Wizards, Minnesota Timberwolves and many more teams that expresses their interest on the big fella. But none of those teams have actively pursued him and up until now have not acquired his services.

Cousins, who has been voted as an All-Star for two consecutive years (2015 and 2016), are putting up monstrous numbers of 29.1 points, 10.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks and one of the players that averaging double-double figures almost every game. However, the performance didn't translate wins for the Kings which is why rumors are spreading that Boogie might decide to bolt out with the team.

With this kind of notion, reports are floating for possible teams that could acquire the services of Boogie. According to Forbes, the Los Angeles Lakers could be a viable option for DeMarcus Cousins to land and the Lakers are seem to be willing to welcome him on their fold.

Previous reports have already connected Cousins to the Lakers but during those time the Lakers appears don't have any trade offer to the Sacramento Kings for Boogie. But this time around, the Kings is said to be interested on guard D'Angelo Russell and may ask him as trade offer from the Lakers as per stated on the report.

FOXSports also tackle the idea of the Lakers pursuing a high-caliber player in the trade market right now. And it appears like DeMarcus Cousins could be the top choice for them that could give them immediate impact on their current campaign.

With the current situation of Cousins with the Kings, the Lakers might take an advantage of securing his services while he is still playing at a high level and the Kings are willing to listen offers for him. With proper trade offer, a possible deal might work for both teams.

Nevertheless, the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings have not yet confirmed any transaction between them but we can still hear DeMarcus Cousins name in the rumor mills in the coming days.
