Samsung Electronics is going to demonstrate on how it has stepped up its game in the entertainment monitor space with the unveiling of its new CH711 Quantum Dot Curved monitor at CES 2017, which is going to happen at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Booth #15006, Central Hall.

The curved monitor will be available in two alternatives in terms of size; in 27in and in 31.5in. Samsung has said that they are planning for a commercial release sometime earlier next year, although it has not mentioned any specific date.

The monitor will come with 1,800R curvature and 178-degree viewing angle. Apart the new CH711, Samsung is also going to showcase the CFG70 and CF791 Quantum Dot curved monitors at the CES.

Coming in two 24in and 27in, the CFG70 curved monitors will offer you a host of game-friendly features like gaming UX user interface and options to optimise picture presentation for any of the FPS, RTS, RPG and AOS game genres, reports International Business Times.

According to the company, consumers can load any content from any connected HDMI or DP input and position it anywhere on the screen. Picture-in-Picture (PIP) function also allows users to shrink and move content onscreen without losing picture quality in the monitor.

Along with the curved monitors, Samsung will showcase other high-resolution monitors like 28in UH750 monitor that sport its game-friendly features and Quantum dot screen, UHD resolution and narrow bezel design. The SH850 model is available in 23.8in and 27in screens, which delivers WQHD resolution.

Seoggi Kim, senior vice president of Samsung Visual Display Business said in a statement on 29 December that, "This year's line-up of curved Quantum Dot monitors offers brilliant design, richer color and deeper contrast than ever before."

According to Business Wire, to celebrate the launch of its newest monitors, Samsung will offer CES 2017 attendees a first-hand opportunity to engage in friendly competition at its interactive gaming zone. Samsung's booth will include interactive stations where visitors can test several of today's leading video game titles on its CFG70 Quantum Dot Curved gaming monitors, with supporting large-format SMART LED signage broadcasting the competition - and demonstrating the monitors' excellent visual presentation - to the wider CES audience.
