The Sims 4 gamers may soon have pets themed DLC. It is expected that the life simulation game, The Sims 4 from Electronic Arts' will have a new DLC with the addition of pets, another highly requested update from the gamers.

According to reports from Sims Community, there are hidden codes in the recent game patch, which indicates that the players will see dogs as well as cats in the game. Moreover, the sim filters have also been updated with the addition of a 'species' option.

The community also states that apart from these, the game may or may not have horses. The uncertainty is due to the fact that the codes do not have the mention of a horse. However, it is also speculated that the code is possibly incomplete and horses may be included in the coming days.

It was in 2014 that The Sims 4 made its debut and since then several elements that were missing from the game were added. In the recent past, the game saw the release of the Vampire themed expansion pack as well as the addition to toddlers.

Talking about toddlers, this update to The Sims 4 was announced early this month. Like other previous expansion packs, It is one of the biggest updates that has happened so far, claims The Sims official website. 

It is worth mentioning here that the updates made to this life simulation game have been as per the feedback and the requests of avid players of The Sims 4. And as the players had requested that they wanted to experience the toddler life stage in the game, it has been inducted into the game in a way that is meaningful to the game.

Though, neither Electronic Arts nor Maxis, the developers of The Sims 4 has made any official announced about the inclusion of pets, previous surveys conducted by EA, indicates that pets may be a part of the game soon.
