Kristen Stewart Reportedly Misses Robert Pattinson In Her New Film; ‘Come Swim’ Inspired By Their Past Romance

Robert Pattinson could be the inspiration behind Kristen Stewart's directorial film, "Come Swim" as that's what fans think would be the case. This 17-minute film is an emotional day in a man's life before he is overcome by water.

As what the fans would think, many believe that the story is based on Stewart's complicated love life particularly her highly-publicized relationship with ex-boyfriend, Pattinson. This film just premiered this week at the Sundance Film Festival.

Truly, in one of her interviews, Kristen admitted that this film was inspired by a man who was not even comfortable about himself as reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry. The story presents Josh Kaye who is a 26-year old man who is always trying his best to live his life but he simply can't move on from his ex-girlfriend.

Stewart's directorial debut shows a lot of abstract presentations of the man's broken heart and his true feelings for his ex-girlfriend. It also features a repeated conversation between him and his ex-girlfriend but these are all in his head.

Like what she said, Kristen had felt the obsession of putting someone in a place where they don't usually dwell. She even spoke about isolation and how this happening in her life appealed to her greatly.

Obviously, many fans can't help but wonder if Kristen Stewart has Robert Pattinson as is inspiration in this movie. Her long and bumpy romance with her "Twilight" co-star is said to be her inspiration and she is actually referring to this one as reported by InStyle.

She even admitted that her relationship with Pattinson was "underestimated" and even though she did not directly mention the actor, fans know that she is referring to him. Kristen just shared that her last relationship with a male felt like a silly tabloid romance and that this did not simply please her.

With this, many believe that Stewart have been inspired to direct and write the movie by her romance with Robert Pattinson. But no one really knows what her purpose is except for the actress. In fact, the two were so quiet about the real reason for their split.

But Kristen Stewart made no clear sign that Robert Pattinson is her inspiration in her directorial debut, "Come Swim" since the two have not communicated to each other in years already.
