Samsung is allegedly unveiling some stimulating tablets this year along with its other interesting smartphones. The Samsung Tab S3 lineup was rumored to come out in the last quarter of 2016, but due to bugs encountered with the Note 7, the release dates were postponed.

It has also been reported that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has already received its Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth certifications. Allegedly the tablet is said to have arrive sometime this quarter, but what was not really revealed even previously is the device's spectacular specifications, if any.

That has now changed as a new rumor surfaced, and apparently, it has revealed some of the device's key specs. The report articulates that the tablet will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7420 chipset, and will have 4GB RAM. Other specs include UFS2.0 storage, USB Type-C port, and a home button-embedded fingerprint sensor.

An account also mentions that the upcoming tablets will be offered in two different variants: a Wi-Fi-only model SM-T820, and one with LTE connectivity, SM-T825. Apparently both versions will support UFS2.0 storage and USB Type-C ports, and also reportedly have a fingerprint scanner integrated into the physical Home button.

Accordingly, the Galaxy Tab S3 is likely to replace Samsung's ageing Galaxy Tab S2, that was launched sometime in September 2015. Now that the Galaxy Tab S3 finally appears to have gotten a commercial launch, it will be interesting to see what is in store once Samsung officially takes the veil off the device.

Since Samsung has finally released the results of its investigation into the Galaxy Note 7 fires, definitely the company have plenty of time to spare before the launching of the Galaxy S8. Accordingly, it will not be surprising if the rumored timeframe for the Tab S3 launch does turn out to be accurate.
