He reportedly has been having some money troubles, but a new lawsuit against him reveals that Johnny Depp only has himself to blame for his woes.

Depp sued The Management Group, his former managers, earlier this month claiming that after he had fired them his new business manager discovered serious misconduct, with the firm allegedly collecting $28 million in contingent feed he never agreed to, had consistently failed to file or pay his taxes on time, failed to keep proper books, and had also loaned nearly $10 million of his money to third parties without his authorization.

However, now, in documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, the former managers, Joel and Robert Mandel claim they had done everything they could to be responsible for his finances, and had warned him about overspending, and are now counter-suing him for breach of contract and promissory fraud, and are also asking for a court declaration that Depp is responsible for his own "financial waste."

"Depp lived an ultra-extravagant lifestyle that often knowingly cost Depp in excess of $2 million per month to maintain, which he simply could not afford," TMG's attorney wrote in the cross-complaint. "Depp, and Depp alone, is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today,"

Among the excessive spending detailed in the counterclaim were $75 million spent on 14 residences, $18 million spent on a luxury yacht and $30,000 per month spent on wine.

"Depp also paid over $3 million to blast from a specially-made cannon the ashes of author Hunter Thompson over Aspen, Colorado," the attorney added.

According to The Daily Mail, Depp has also been selling off some of his residences over the last year, and he also settled his divorce from actress Amber Heard by paying her $7 million, which she donated to charity.
