"Dead by Daylight" will soon head to PS4 and Xbox One as Starbreeze Studios announced its partnership with Behaviour Digital and 505 Games. The asymmetrical multiplayer horror game is reported to be available in these two consoles before June this year.

According to Niche game, "Dead by Daylight" is a multiplayer (4 versus 1) horror game. One of the players will take the role of the killer, while the other four will play as survivors. They must try to escape to avoid being caught, tortured and killed.

The survivors will have to play in the third-person and have an advantage of better situational awareness. Meanwhile, the killer plays in the first-person role and is more focused on his prey.

The goal of every survivor is to escape the killing ground without being killed. Players cannot master the killing ground in "Dead by Daylight" as it changes every game. Every level is also procedurally generated so that players do not know what to expect. There are random spawn points that will thrill every survivor.

Survivor players in "Dead by Daylight" can work as a team or simply work alone. Working together could mean better chances of escaping the killing ground alive. However, the progression system and can be customized to fit one's personal strategy.

In June 2016, "Dead by Daylight" was released for Microsoft Windows and has sold 1 million units two months after. Metacritic gave the game a 71 percent score, while GameSpot awarded it a score of 6 out of 10.

Owners of PS4 and Xbox One are thrilled that Starbreeze has signed the retail distribution agreement. Its catalog of games includes "The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay," "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" and "Payday 2" according to Gamespresso. However, the distribution agreement of "Dead by Daylight" does not include Asia and the Nordic territories.
