It looks like Nintendo has gotten on the love-month bandwagon as it showed "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" players some love by dropping a big surprise in the form of an expansion pass. This is big news for "The Legend Of Zelda" players since this is the first ever DLC to be released in a main series game of the franchise.

According to IGN, "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild" Expansion Pass will be available starting Mar. 3 for $19.99 USD for Nintendo Switch and Wii U platforms. Further, there will be two extra content packs which are scheduled to be released later this year. The two "Legend Of Zelda" DLC packs will be sold in pairs and cannot be sold individually.

The first "Legend Of Zelda" DLC is reportedly slated to be released by summer 2017. It includes a new Cave of Trials challenge, hard mode and a new feature for the in-game map. Meanwhile, the second  "Legend Of Zelda" DLC pack, slated to be released during the holidays, will reportedly consist of a new original story, additional challenges and a new dungeon.

Players who will purchase "The Legend Of Zelda" Expansion Pass will automatically unlock three extra treasure chests in the Great Plateau location. Among the three extra treasure chests, two will bestow the players very useful items while the third treasure chest will feature a shirt with a Nintendo Switch logo for Link to wear during the game.

"The Legend Of Zelda" series producer, Eiji Aonuma, has published a video to give the players a walkthrough to the Expansion Pass. Basically, the aim is to give more adventures to the players who have already finished the main game. "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of Wil" will be released on Mar. 3 for Nintendo Switch and Wii U.

Meanwhile, "The Legend Of Zelda" fanatics can watch out for an "Art And Artifacts" book set for release on Feb. 21. According to Nintendo Wire, Players can also test their knowledge and expertise on "The Legend Of Zelda" in certain Barnes and Nobles location.
