"Scandal's" cast Kerry Washington is reportedly being eyed to play the "Deadpool 2" character; Domino. The director of "Deadpool" sequel has assured the avid patrons of film that the DNA of the first movie is still intact.

According to MovieWeb, "Deadpool 2" will be bringing in Domino which is a very dominant female mutant/mercenary. It was also noted that "Scandal" actress Kerry Washington has been revealed to be the prime candidate for the Domino role.

Additionally, an excellent artist named BossLogic has made a version of Kerry Washington as Domino. Aside from making Washington really look the part of the image, BossLogic also decided to do an inverse of the color scheme, which makes it appear more unique.

For reference, Kerry Washington last performed on the big screen together with Craig Robinson in "Peeples" in 2013. This was followed by a role in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained."

Furthermore, The Independent has learned that aside from Domino; "Deadpool 2" will also feature Cable which will be portrayed by Pierce Brosnan. Cable is a time-travelling mutant who has been favored by a lot of fans.

It can be remembered that "James Bond" Pierce Brosnan has been speculated to be in the pipeline ever since a photograph of himself, Hugh Jackman, and Reynolds was shared all over the wire.

It was also worth noting that "Deadpool 2" Director David Leitch - who also worked on John Wick - stated in an interview that the DNA of the "Deadpool" will remain intact into its sequel "Deadpool 2"

Leitch has told the interviewer that it's going to be entertaining to spin out and expand the world slightly. But then he added that "But we want to stay true to that, the little superhero movie that could. It is the fun irreverent movie."

"Deadpool 2" is slated to hit the big screen on Mar. 2 next year which was more than a year from now. Moreover, additional details about the forthcoming movie are expected to unfold as the time progresses.
