Snooki's $55,000 Engagement Ring
It's no secret Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is pregnant and engaged, but have you seen her $55,000 ring?
Snooki's rock features two carats of round diamonds set in an eternity band with a three-carat princess cut diamond affixed to the top. E! reports the ring was custom made by a New Jersey jeweler and co-designed by Snooki's husband-to-be Jionni LaValle.
"Jionni came in by himself two months ago and we started designing the ring together," reveals jeweler Ben Bekdas. "He picked it up last month."
But let's not give LaValle all the credit for choosing the ring.
"Snooki was here a few months ago to pick up a birthday present from her father," says Bekdas. "She was dropping hints to Jionni and tried a couple of rings on. She picked out three different styles of rings. She liked the top of one and the side of another."
Bekdas also revealed the couple will be returning to pick out their wedding bands. Snooki and LaValle have yet to set a wedding date.
Snooki confirmed her pregnancy and engagement this week.
