Thousands of viewers who turned to watch the live stream feed of the Boston Strong Concert Thursday night, featuring some of the most famous musicians from Boston such as The New Kids on the Block, were disappointed when the live stream was down for at least the first hour of the show.

The concert at Boston's TD Garden kicked off at 7 p.m. local time. Organizers admitted to a technical failure on Twitter that didn't allow people to access the live stream, and fixed the problem later. Viewers most likely missed performances by Boston, The J. Geils Band, Extreme Band and Jason Aldean. Error messages that appeared on the Boston Strong Concert website included: "This webpage is not available" and "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."

"Working on the live streaming issues - we promise! Should be up and running in a few minutes," organizers tweeted at 8 p.m. EST

"Livestream should be working now! Thank you for your patience! Viewership was MASSIVE. Stream now: https://aconcertforboston.org/ ," organizers Concert4Boston, wrote on Twitter at around 9 p.m. EST.
