Kim Kardashian's step-dad Bruce Jenner called out Kanye West on his already fatherly duties and revealed that the rapper has never been around throughout the reality star's pregnancy.

Jenner and son, Brody Jenner appeared on Extra on May 31 to promote the upcoming season of eighth season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians which premiered Sunday night.

"This year as far as content, because it's about a family, will be our best season yet," Bruce told host, Maria Menounos. "The first show is alot with Brody and I, the talks we had. I know Kim is certaintly involved. She's been very pregnant and we're taking everybody through that. Just all the different family issues that we're dealing with."

When asked about if Bruce had any male bonding time with West, Bruce told Menounos that he doesn't know too much about the rapper.

"Actually, I have only met him once," Bruce said. "He's never ... he's not around," he laughed, adding, "He was in Paris the whole time writing, and he just hasn't been around."

Brody also chimed in and said he never met West either. "But Kim says great things about him," he continued, "And so does the entire family."

Bruce and Brody weren't the first ones to say West was somewhat absent throughout Kim's pregnancy.

Enstars reported earlier that Khloe Kardashian appeared on the Today show last week and told Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford that the rapper wasn't at the doctor's appointment the day Kim found out about the sex of her baby.

"He was at all the previous [appointments] where we never could find out the sex of the baby," she explained. "So that was just the one he wasn't at. But we were videotaping it on our iPhones and everything...I think he had a concert."

Meanwhile, West showed up to Kim's baby shower on Sunday.

According to sources, he sneaked into the event with his hoody over his face and even arrived late.

"Kanye arrived as many of the guests were leaving," a source told RadarOnline.com. "You could tell Kim was wondering where he was. The singer didn't look happy to be there [and] dodged cameras that were shooting for Kim's reality show.
