Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess seem to have already fallen into the typical "showmance" slot on Dancing With the Stars this season.

Bolton and Burgess' sizzling chemistry on their first dance of the season had many of the judges buzzing, while social media quickly took notice after he inadvertently grabbed her near the crotch area. Despite rampant rumors of a possible love connection, Burgess is insisting their partnership is strictly professional.

"We're not together," Burgess stated in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight. "We obviously have great chemistry, we love working together and Bonner is an incredibly good-looking guy. I want to keep supporting him and working hard every week in the competition!"

While both Bolton and Burgess remain focused on the competition aspect of Dancing With the Stars, a source told the publication that the professional bull rider does think his dancing partner is attractive.

"Bonner seems to be attracted to Sharna. There's a spark there," the source teased. "Whether anything will happen, time will tell. Sharna is a total professional and focused on the show."

Couples have certainly fell in love before - just ask one of this year's pro dancers, Kym Herjavec (née Johnson). She was partnered with Shark Tank judge Robert Herjavec in season 20 and their chemistry blossomed to the point that they started dating and then got married last year.

Then there's fellow Dancing With the Stars pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd. The pair has been dating for years and finally got engaged at the end of 2015, and have a newborn son, Shai Alexander, who was born on Jan. 4. They will be married this coming summer.

It remains to be seen if Bolton and Burgess will develop any sort of personal relationship beyond the show, but they need to improve their scores soon if they want to last for a while in the competition. The couple received a 22 out of 40 for their cha-cha-cha, giving them the fourth lowest score of the night. They'll need to boost that score in the coming weeks to survive in this competitive season of DWTS.

Dancing With the Stars season 24 airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
