Colombian singer and new mom Shakira proved she's all about motherhood -- even at her current job as judge on The Voice.

The singer was seen Monday on the Voice set handling her 4-month-old son Milan immediately after the first contestant's performance wrapped and also during subsequent commercial breaks.

"Milan was brought out to Shakira after the first contestant's performance, [and] her face lit up," an eyewitness told Life & Style"Her boyfriend brought him out and little Milan had a Voice credential around his neck. He was looking around at all the lights and he wasn't fazed at all by the noise."

Milan sat in his mother's judging chair and posed with his parents for photos.

"Gerard brought him out again and put him in Shakira's red chair," the onlooker continued, describing Milan waving from his father's arms backstage. "Shakira was really so happy to see them. She was giving Milan kisses and rubbing his head. She took him from Gerard and they hugged as a family."

Shakira gave birth to Milan in January; his father is the Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué.

It seems the singer can't get enough of being a mom: she announced last month that she would leave the popular singing competition after just one season to spend more time with her baby. She told TODAY show's Al Roker on April 22, "Being a mother is deliciously overwhelming."

"It's surreal. It's a whole new experience to me and I'm discovering it second by second," she added.

She called breastfeeding "one of the best experiences" of her life in a May interview with Us Weekly, saying that she hopes to do it until Milan goes to college. However, motherhood isn't taking completely the singer away from her career. She told the publication she wrote a ballad for her son the day she was going to deliver him.
