Funk legend Nile Rodgers recently revealed an interesting conversation he had with Madonna back in the 1980's, which he claimed that she was mad they didn't sleep together.

According to Rodgers, who most recently collaborated with Daft Punk on their hit single Get Lucky, said while producing Madonna's hit-album, Like A Virgin, the pop star approached him with an awkward question.

"I was standing at an elevator when she goes, 'Why don't you want to f*** me?' according to The Sun Newspaper.

To which, the 60-year-old musician said: "I was like, 'What did you just say to me?' She was wondering why I had not propositioned her. She couldn't understand that. It was like, 'Everybody wants me'."

Rodgers said the reason why he didn't sleep with Madonna was because he had a bad experience fraternizing with artists.

"One time I slept with a really beautiful artist I was working with and it was a really wrong thing to do. So, I didn't work like that."

The legendary guitarist said he does not regret his decision to be romantically involved with Madonna because the pair ended up being close friends.

"I grew as close to Madonna as I've ever been to a woman without being romantically involved.

Rodgers praised Madonna and said that she was well aware of how iconic she was going to be.

"She was the most driven person. The day I met her she said, 'I'm going to be a really big superstar'."

The musician also said the relationship between the two has had many positive influences on his life. Madonna convinced him to get up drinking more than 20 years ago at his 38th birthday party.

"I don't remember any of this. But I was told I was carried out of Madonna's house," he admitted. "It was the most embarrassing night of my life. I have never had a drink or taken drugs since."
