Brangelina split happened exactly on this day..!

Precisely one year ago, Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt citing irreconcilable differences.

However, Brangelina's story is now headed for a happy ending, confirms friends and family of the power couple. Based on a recent report from Daily Mail, Angelina has admitted that they would be the new Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. She has revealed that like the latter- they were in love with each other and want to give their relationship a try again.

The couple's biographer Ian Halperin has also confirmed to The Mail that they came face-to-face a few weeks ago and that was for the first time in ten months. It was a moment of mixed emotion and there were a lot of tears.

"Nothing was left on the table. They had it out, right there and then in this very modest house. In that moment they decided to make a fresh start. It was a 'come to Jesus meeting' that marked the beginning of a new phase in their relationship," Halperin revealed.

Last year, Angelina filed a series of allegations on Brad. She accused him of mid-air altercation over drinks, drugs. She also alleged Brad had a mid-air clash with their teenage son Maddox which turned physical.

On 19 September 2016, Angelina filed for divorce over the plane incident. There were brief investigations by the FBI and social services, and Brad maintained he didn't hit Maddox over the argument. Brad came out clean after the investigations but the episode shocked Brangelina fans all over the world and the rift in their relationship seemed as final.

The couple parted ways and after a huge setback, Angelina recently admitted she does not enjoy being single either. It was 12 years of togetherness and 2 years of marriage for Brangelina and thus deserved another go and news of Brangelina getting back together has fans on tiptoes.
