In light of the controversy surrounding the third movie of Sex and City franchise, actress Kim Cattrall rubbished reports claiming that she shut down the project from taking off.

Catrall insisted she never made over-the-top demands from Warner Bros production as she slammed her SATC co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

"And this is really where I take to task the people from 'Sex And The City' and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker in that I think she could have been nicer, " she said.

Further addressing the allegations the 61-year old actress who played the role of a publicist in SATC series revealed that her decision had nothing to do with the said 'diva' demands.

"The inference is from some unknown source, the inference is, is that I am a diva, that I've held up production in some way that, 'oh now we don't get to make our movie because of you'," said Cattrall, as she sat down to tape an  interview with iTV series 'Life Stories' with Piers Morgan.

Ahead of the interview, she had thrown major shades at people who held her responsible for stalling the third movie of the SATC franchise. She revealed her conversation with the production last year over a tweet.

"Woke 2 a @MailOnline storm! The only 'DEMAND' I ever made was that I didn't want to do a 3rd film....& that was back in 2016," she wrote.

Disgusted by all the negative press Cattrall even retweeted a fan's take, on the controversy, which read "Let Kim be. She doesn't owe fans a third movie. The second was terrible as it was. And her projects since have been great."

'Sex and the City' film grossed a revenue of $415 million worldwide while the sequel brought in $300 million. Because of this over growing popularity, Warner Bros hinted at rolling a third installment of the popular rom-com and this was supposedly a much-anticipated movie until reports of it being shelved surfaced.

A week ago, Parker was found agonizing over the end of SATC, at the New York city ballet gala, which she attended with her husband, Mathew Broderick. Speaking to the Extra Magazine, Parker confirmed that the chances of making the third installment of SATC were slim.

"It's over...we're not doing it. I'm disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story, It's not just disappointing that we don't get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie," said the star.
