Lady Gaga is reportedly set to wed her celebrity agent boyfriend Christian Carino.

Just over a year after calling off her engagement to Chicago Fire actor Taylor Kinney, Lady Gaga is said to be over the moon as she enjoys a secret engagement to Carino.

“Christian popped the question in early September, and even gave her a monster-sized diamond,” a source revealed to Radar Online on October 13. “Gaga has been gushing about how much she loves him, but she’s holding off wearing the ring because she isn’t ready to make an announcement.”

According to the report, Lady Gaga is holding off on announcing her engagement to the public because she first wants to share the news in private with her former fiance, Kinney.

“She didn’t want Taylor to find out about the engagement from anyone but her,” the source said. “They desperately wanted it to work out between them, but Taylor’s just too traditional, and their careers kept them apart too much."

While Kinney is forced to stay put as he continues his role on Chicago Fire, Lady Gaga is known to frequently travel the world during her tours and for other performances. Meanwhile, Carino, who previously dated The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan, is reportedly on board with Lady Gaga's hectic lifestyle and travels with her when she leaves town.

“He’s head over heels for Gaga,” the insider explained. “I think they’ll be married before the New Year.”

As fans may recall, Lady Gaga recently postponed her Joanne World Tour after experiencing serious pain related to fibromyalgia.
