Kailyn Lowry's Son Reunites With His Father, Chris Lopez, For The First Time In Weeks

Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez may not be on good terms, but luckily, he was recently able to spend time with his baby boy.

According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star and mother of three set up time for her son to spend with his father recently, but they have yet to establish a set schedule for their future.

“It was a supervised visit,” a source close to Kailyn Lowry revealed to Radar Online on Dec. 12. “The visits are not on a schedule. It wasn’t at a visitation center. It was wherever they decided to go as long as the supervisor was there.”

Lowry and Lopez are reportedly still not on good terms. Despite their strained relationship, the Teen Mom 2 star was glad to see that her son was able to spend some quality time with his dad.

“She’s just happy they were able to see each other,” the source said.

Prior to the visit, Lowry posted an image of her little boy on social media, along with a caption confirming he was on his way to see his dad. As for Lopez, he also spoke of the visit on social media, telling his fans and followers on Twitter that he "had a moment."

Lowry's dispute with Lopez began after he reportedly refused to legally acknowledge that he had fathered their child. As a source explained to Radar Online, he likely did so in an effort to avoid having to pay child support for the boy.

Following their legal feud, Lowry reportedly went to court and filed documents to have her child's name changed from Lux Russell Lopez to Lux Russell Lowry.

In other Lowry news, the reality star recently confirmed she was in a relationship with another woman. While the Teen Mom 2 star has not yet confirmed who that woman is, it has been widely speculated that it is Dominique Potter, who has been spending a lot of time with Lowry and her family in recent weeks.

As for Lowry's former husband, Javi Marroquin, he is currently dating their co-star, Briana DeJesus, for the past few months.

Kailyn Lowry and her co-stars, including Javi Marroquin, Jo Rivera, Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, and Briana DeJesus are currently in production on the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2. No word yet on when the show will return to MTV.
