Outspoken KISS frontman Gene Simmons is caught in a sexual misconduct controversy. The "Lick It Up" rocker is the latest subject of a lawsuit.

Rock And Brews Sued

A Los Angeles radio personality alias Jane Doe has come forward and sued the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musician on the grounds of sexual misconduct. Doe stated that the encounter happened on Nov. 1, where she was interviewing Simmons at the Highland, California location of the Rock and Brews Restaurant.

In her lawsuit, Doe added that the rocker made unwanted sexual advances on her like Simmons was inappropriately touching her. Doe also claimed that the "Rock And Roll All Nite" singer made her uncomfortable during the interview process when Simmons answered her questions with a sexual undertone. She also added that Simmons also grabbed her inappropriately in the private parts in front of her shocked colleagues.

Doe's lawsuit contains seven damages including sexual battery, gender violence, battery, assault, and gender violence. She also named three Rock and Brews' companies as defendants in her lawsuit. Simmons co-owns the rock music-themed restaurant franchise with longtime KISS member Paul Stanley. The KISS guitarist was also mentioned in the legal complaint.

Fans Rally Behind Gene Simmons

On Sunday, Dec. 17, Simmons issued a statement on Twitter focusing on his response to Doe's lawsuit.

Simmons’ fans sent a flurry of responses and rallying behind their favorite rock band frontman.

“It is actually refreshing to see a vehement denial. I know you are obliged to believe the accuser, but there have to unscrupulous people jumping on the bandwagon,” wrote one Twitter follower. “Hate that there are innocent men having to deal with accusations. Hashtag Simmons Strong.”

“I’ve met Gene Simmons…and no way. NO WAY. This is a man with integrity beyond anyone I’ve ever met, and you get that off the guy with nothing more than meeting him.” Wrote another Twitter follower. “Not a guy who stands for any bull----.”

“Best of luck Gene. I didn’t think for a second that you would do that.” Wrote another Twitter follower. The fact that this person won’t even come forward with her real name is further proof of that.”

Simmons' Controversial Statements

Doe's lawsuit is not the only time that Simmons faced public controversy. Over the past few years, Simmons's outspoken comments have polarized and divided the fans.

Some of his controversial statements included his infamous remarks regarding Prince's passing. Simmons also got himself in hot water, when he told women to "stop depending on men."

However, there were a few occasions when Simmons had something positive to say. He praised Taylor Swift when she won a massive battle with Apple Music regarding streaming issues.

There has been no specific date yet on when both parties are due in court.
